I've just finished watching this film and I'm still speachless about Ricky's performance. Definitely one of the most intense and difficult roles I've seen him playing and I think he did a great job.
The subject itself is very dramatic and touching, given that it is based on a true story and on facts that have happened more than ones in reality but it is treated with respect and thoughtfullness.
How else could I feel sympatethic both with Jason and his victims..
I think the actors were very good in general but Ricky outshone eveybody in intensity. He portayed Jason as a very troubled soul in need of help and redemption more than revenge.
I'm not ususally a big fan of Freddy Prinze Jr but I liked his performace here and Henry Wrinkler was just perfect for the role of Skippy.
I really would like to hear your opinions about this film.
Thank you
Manu
