Well, today I was watching "Romancing the stone" with Michael Douglas and Kathleen turner for the 100th time and kept thinking that I would like to see Ricky in a similar role.
Not a remake because the original is perfect as it is, but a character which is cheeky, charming and funny at the same time.

Directing and acting in one that is connected with my production company (we have westerns in development and some other things animation related...) I worked for Silver Sthingys back in the 1980s and my dream would be to work with the "adult" Ricky and have him involved in one of our projects. He was awesome in "Dead Man's Gun" and "Lonesome Dove" - so I would like to see him in more period pieces like that.

Those are both great ideas, and I LOVE watching him on TV and movies, but, I have often thought he should lend his voice to an animated movie, I think that would be cute!!

I hope you'll be able to work with Ricky again Cheryl! He seems to often go back working with people he has met before, like Peter Fonda, Eric Balfour, Ben Bratt ( as Ricky likes to call him ). So hopefully it will happen with you too. I've always liked westerns so having Ricky in one of them would make it even more pleasant. I have to admit that I'm guilty to not have seen "Lonesome dove" yet but I'm catching up quickly on Ricky's work.....so I'll see it soon (found out recently that my husband has it on dvd). Manu
